What we do

Role of the Education Welfare Service
Our role is to assist and support children, families and schools so that all children are in a position to receive the maximum benefit possible from the education system, appropriate to their age, ability, aptitude and any special educational needs they may have.

Each school has an allocated Education Welfare Officer (EWO) who meets with senior staff on a regular basis.
